The Skunk haired Eagle Tail has far out performed all my other bucktails. If you, and your fishing partner, can deal with a slight skunk smell as you cast the oily haired bait, I highly recommend you pick one up. I have boated a 52.5 inch and a 48 inch musky the past two years and had numerous follows on days where other baits can not get the fish moving.

This lure is simply the best bucktail you can own. It works great cast or trolled, and is the ace in the pocket. It works, and works well. To increase the hooking percentage, I cut off the back single hook and replace it with a big 7/0 mustad. The skunk seems to be a top producer in my aresenal, I think the skunk smell is responsible for that. You cannot own too many of these bucktails.
