I hooked a 40 inch musky on this rig (with bobber) during the 2005 Midwest Musky Classic in Phelps. It worked just as advertised; unfortunately this rookie did not set the hook a second or third time. Lost the fish with a head shake 5 feet from the boat. This is the best quick strike rig I have used.
