Butter Broiled Trout

Ingredients

2 trout fillets (about 6-8 oz each)

4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

Preheat the broiler – Set your oven to broil and position the rack about 6 inches from the heat source.

Prepare the butter mixture – In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Arrange the trout – Place the fillets skin-side down on a greased baking sheet or broiler pan.

Brush with butter – Generously coat the fillets with the butter mixture.

Broil – Place the trout under the broiler and cook for 4-6 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish & serve – Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
