As we slide into mid December, erratic weather patterns have really made the early ice fisherman's season precarious at best.

There are a few of the lakes that are still open here in the Northwoods of WI. Water temps on the lakes with open water are 33-35 degrees.

If you're brave enough to continue fishing in chilly temps, then this is the report for you.  Late November has taken the swing into the much colder temperatures of fall.
